Argo Teetlaus and Merit Ots discussing the sales team’s structure and leadership

My collaboration with Merit began at a time when the company needed clarity and a new structure in the middle of change. As interim leader, my role was to bring focus and confidence to the team and build a framework that would support the next stage of growth.

Argo joined our team to carry out specific changes. Before the collaboration began, we mapped out the possibilities and needs and put together a structured plan. The changes that followed were made with the team involved, and with a broad awareness of why the changes were needed. Many of the steps had already been in the works for a while, but we only reached the point of actually carrying them out now.

Argo’s strength is his ability to express his thoughts clearly, spark focused discussions on specific topics and help each team member better understand their own responsibility. His inclusive and supportive communication creates room to make mistakes, learn and grow. With a light nudge, he guides the team and the company in the direction they need to go.

Why was this experience special?

Argo’s role wasn’t limited to putting together plans. His greatest value lay in bringing clarity to difficult discussions, building a shared structure and helping every team member better understand their role. That created the ground for the team to move forward with confidence and make decisions that supported long-term growth.

The value of Argo’s leadership style

Argo’s leadership style combines strategic planning with human support. He doesn’t just lead processes, he leads people, listening, asking the right questions and helping the team find its own way to solutions. This combination creates a stable, trustworthy environment where change doesn’t stay temporary, but turns into lasting growth.

Lessons that stayed with us

  • Clarity and structure, a solid framework the team can keep relying on in the future.
  • Inclusive leadership, every team member has room to contribute and take responsibility.
  • Courageous steps, difficult decisions made with confidence and support.
