I’ve spent over 25 years working in leadership, sales and organisational development. In that time I’ve seen many different organisations, changes and leadership situations.
But the most important lesson wasn’t about strategies or processes. It was the realisation that almost any difficult situation gets simpler the moment people start seeing the same picture.
What shaped me
Over the course of my career I’ve led sales organisations, driven change and worked alongside very different leaders and teams.
I’ve been part of international companies, fast-growing organisations and complex change processes.
At first, like many leaders, I believed success mostly comes from the right decisions and well-crafted plans. Over the years I understood something more important.
Most problems aren’t born from a lack of knowledge. They’re born when people stop understanding each other in the same way.
- When priorities scatter.
- When responsibility becomes unclear.
- When important conversations never happen.
These experiences shaped my leadership philosophy today.
Organisations that have shaped my thinking
Philips, AkzoNobel, Lindström, Utilitas, Softrend, Swedbank.
Each organisation taught me something different. All of these experiences help me see the whole picture today, even in new situations.
What I believe today
Over the years a few principles have taken shape that I always work from.
Clarity creates movement
When people understand a situation the same way, decisions get easier and collaboration becomes more natural.
People before processes
Good systems matter, but they don’t replace trust, responsibility or honest conversations.
Real change happens in everyday work
A workshop isn’t the goal. The value of coaching isn’t born in the session itself. The result appears when agreements turn into real decisions and behaviour.
Partnership before expertise
I don’t believe in the all-knowing consultant. I believe in a partnership where the solution is built together with the client.
Why this matters to you
My role isn’t to arrive with ready-made solutions. My role is to help create clarity.
I don’t help organisations today just because of experience. I help them because I can spot patterns in difficult situations that are no longer visible from the inside.
Sometimes that means coaching. Sometimes strategic sparring. Sometimes change management. And sometimes just one honest conversation that gets the whole rest of the process moving.
What clients say about me most often
- „He helps me see the bigger picture quickly.” Complex topics become understandable.
- „Working together becomes calmer.” Conversations become more honest and decisions clearer.
- „He doesn’t arrive with ready answers.” The right solutions are born together with the people who have to carry them out.
A little about me
I’ve always been more interested in people than in job titles. I like to listen before I share an opinion.
I ask a lot of questions, because I believe good answers rarely appear before good questions. In my free time I recharge through exercise, nature and conversations with people who see the world from a different angle.
I believe that even as a leader you don’t need to know everything. What matters more is creating an environment where people feel safe finding the right answers together.
If my story resonated with you, let’s talk about yours now.
